The pitch (one paragraph)

Karate Man is a live-action comedy show that the audience plays like a video game. Using an actual video game controller — passed around the room — the audience commands Karate Man through an anarchically funny choose-your-own-adventure. Every button press changes the story: punch, kick, jump, grab, block. The show began in Sydney and won Best Interactive at the Adelaide Fringe 2025 before crossing to the UK for its 2026 London debut.

Karate Man is produced by BEAK Comedy, an independent comedy company based in Sydney, Australia. The show was created by Bruno Dubosarsky and Daniel Scarratt and has been written by an ensemble of Australian comedy writers across multiple incarnations since 2022.
