The full hour takes over Bedlam Late — Bedlam Fringe and Liebenspiel's late-night lineup — in a 49-seat converted church. The audience holds a real video game controller; every button press changes what happens on stage.

About the show

Our story begins in 198X. Karate Man has defeated the nefarious Ross Roundkick, and peace is restored to Karatetown. Many years pass... it is now 20XX. And our hero must face his greatest challenge yet: ordinary life.

You and the audience command Karate Man through an expansive branching adventure as he battles his inner demons, his outer enemies, and the looming threat of [ DIVORCE ].

About the venue

A converted neo-gothic church in the heart of the Fringe. Karate Man plays the 49-seat Auditorium as part of Bedlam Late: "intelligent, anarchic, format-breaking comedy" (Chortle).

Wheelchair access via permanent ramp, wheelchair accessible toilets, audio enhancement system. The venue is strictly 18+ after 10pm.
